jon stewart ist wieder oscar moderator. da freu’ ich mich drauf, denn ich fand, er hat es beim ersten mal sehr gut gemacht. ellen hat mich 2007 eher enttäuscht.
stewart fand die richtige mischung aus schnellem witz: "good evening ladies, gentleman…felicity!, aufgelegten wuchteln: "we are being watched by hundreds of millions of people, nearly half of them are in the process of being adopted by angelina jolie", kleinen neckereien der großen stars: "good night and good luck – which was not only edward r. murrow’s sign off, it is also how mr.
clooney ends all his dates" oder (nachdem r. crowes boxerfilm nicht für
das beste make up ausgezeichnet wurde): "i am a little surprised, that
cinderella man did not win this category, you know, imagine the difficulty of making russell crowe look like he had gotten into a fight" und spontanen einfällen, etwa nach der ausgeflippten performance für den best song oscar (it’s hard out there for a pimp): "you know what – I guess it just had gotten a little bit easier out
there for a pimp"
der oscar countdown beginnt langsam anzulaufen. wie cool! am 24. februar 2008 ist es wieder soweit!
