five little ducks

heute aus der rubrik "idiotische mütterliche hormone": 

es gibt da einen song, der nennt sich 5 little ducks. und der geht so: "five little ducks went out one day, over the hills and far away, mother ducks says quack quack quack quack – but only 4 little ducks came back…" und so weiter, bis die mutter alleine ist: "mother duck she went out one day, over the hills and far away, mother duck say quack quack quack quack and all of the five little ducks came back." 

das ist mir einfach zuviel. vor drei jahren wäre mir sowas völlig schnuppe gewesen und nun frage ich mich, rührt es mich mehr, dass alle entchen verschwunden sind oder, dass alle wieder zurück kommen. furchtbar. dabei war ich früher so hard-boiled.
