VORSICHT KLEINER, NICHT PLOT-TECHNISCHER SPOILER ZU BOYHOOD
In Boyhood schenkt Ethan Hawke seinem zu dem Zeitpunkt schon pubertierendem Sohn Mason eine Compilation mit den Songs, die die Beatles in ihren Solokarrieren veröffentlich haben. Er nennt es, The Black Album. Und er hat lange darüber getüftelt, wie er die Songs arrangieren soll, damit sie quasi einen perfekten Sinn ergeben und über das Leben erzählen.
Er hat Band on the run vor My Sweet Lord gereiht, dahinter Jealous Guy und Photograph. Seine Erklärung dazu:
