derzeit vorfreude auf den roman der vorleser von bernhard schlink. mit u.a. kate winslet ja gerade in den kinos.
dabei muss ich an hugh jackmans opening number bei der diesjährigen oscar-verleihung denken. jackman stellte viele der nominierten filme in songform vor. er schlüpfte beispielsweise kurz in mickey rourkes rolle in der wrestler und sang: "i am a wrestler. i am alone. my role ist outcast, my heart is bypassed and yet i am grown." oder er wetterte, auf einem batmobil aus pappe reitend, gegen die nicht-nominierung von the dark knight: "how come that comical movies never get nominated? how can a billion dollars be unsophisticated. everyone went to see the dark knight. what am i do, if i think it’s not right?"
einen launigen song über the reader zu singen, fällt aufgrund der thematik etwas schwer. daher behalf sich jackman folgendermaßen:
"the reader – i have not seen the reader. i was going to see it later but i fell behind, my batmobile took longer than i thought to design. the reader – i know i need to see the reader. i went down to the theatre but there was a line – of all the people watching iron man a second time."
ok, ich habe mir das buch nicht deswegen bestellt. aber ich fand das ausweich-manöver schon gelungen.
